Garrett 5 x 8 in DD Search Coil for AT Series
The Garrett 5 x 8 in DD PROformance, also called the Ripper, is the compact DD search coil in the AT series. It fits the Garrett AT Pro, AT Gold and AT Max and uses the 2-pin AT coil connector, so it mounts straight to the lower rod.
The small size makes this coil ideal for tight spaces, working through rocks and hunting trashy or iron-infested sites where a larger coil bogs down. Its concentrated detection energy is well suited to jewelry, small coins and gold nuggets, and the Double D winding stays smooth in highly mineralized ground and on salt beaches. The whole coil is submersible to 10 ft.
