Garrett ACE 250 Metal Detector
The Garrett ACE 250 is the long-running entry model in Garrett's ACE line. It is a coin, jewelry and relic detector built around five preset search modes plus electronic Pinpoint, with simple pushbutton controls that make it easy for a new detectorist to learn. A target ID legend above the large LCD shows where a find lands, and a continuous coin depth indicator helps you judge the dig.
The ACE 250 ships with the 6.5 inch by 9 inch PROformance searchcoil and runs at 6.5 kHz. Eight sensitivity levels and accept or reject discrimination let you tune out trash, and the ACE 250 accepts other ACE series searchcoils if you want to change coil size. A battery condition indicator keeps an eye on the four AA batteries.
